Meet the Team

At SP every coach is here because they believe in the same thing — that training should make your life better.

We're coaches first. That means we're invested in you, your progress, and showing up for you beyond the hour.

I've been fascinated with the human body since I was a kid — reading Men's Fitness and bodybuilding magazines while bagging groceries at the local supermarket, hitting the gym soon after I clocked out, trying to understand how training and nutrition could completely transform what a person was capable of. That curiosity eventually took me to San Jose State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. But honestly the education started long before the degree.

I grew up playing sports my whole life and fell in love with what it meant to prepare your body with intention. Over the years I went deep — travelling to seminars, learning from elite coaches around the world, getting certified in functional training, speed development, nutrition, and mobility. I sought out the mentorship of coaches training elite and youth athletes because I wanted to understand how athletes should actually be developed. Not through bodybuilding splits or powerlifting programs, but through smart, progressive athletic preparation that builds the whole person. I coached hundreds of athletes on how to get faster, stronger, and more explosive. And somewhere along the way I noticed something that bothered me.

At a certain point people stop seeing themselves as athletes. They start chasing aesthetics because that's what society tells them health looks like. Then as they get older they realize what they actually want is to feel capable. To do the things they love without their body getting in the way. Performance, aesthetics, and health get treated like separate goals when in reality they're the same goal wearing different clothes.

That's why I started Spectrum Performance. To bridge that gap. To create a place where adults train with the same intention as athletes — because everybody is an athlete. Your sport is just the game of life.

I also grew up on teams. And I know firsthand that having people in your corner who share a mission and genuinely have your back is just as important as the programming. That's not an accident at SP. We build it on purpose.

Outside the gym I'm pretty low key. You'll find me hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, biking, or doing anything that gets me outdoors and close to nature. I spend time with family, travel when I can, and I'm basically a health nerd who enjoys learning and sharing whatever I pick up with anyone who wants to listen.

If you're ready to train with intention and feel the difference in every part of your life, I'd love to be your coach.
